August 8, 2026 - Fullerton Airport Swap Meet
Our club will host a swap meet in a parking lot adjacent to the Fullerton Airport, located at 4011 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton, Ca., 92833. Look for classic Hi-Fi & Ham radio gear, vintage electronics, test equipment, radios, tubes & parts, etc. The meet officially starts at 7 am and is generally over by about 11 am.
· Public restrooms are located in the west side of the main terminal/tower building lobby. Wings Cafe is on the opposite side.

Exit either the 5 or 91 Freeway at Magnolia Ave. Head north for 1 mile and turn left onto Commonwealth Ave. The meet will be in the large fenced parking lot, just west of the main terminal lot.
Buyers:
Parking is available next to Commonwealth Ave. in the designated spaces in front of the meet or in the main terminal lot.

The Swap Meet will be held on both days in VANC's adjacent parking lot on Barnes St. The entrance gates to the lot open at 7 am. Street parking near the gates is limited. To avoid traffic congestion, do not arrive at the meet entrance prior to opening time.
Buyers are asked to park in the Overflow lot across the street. Please do not park in the Swap Meet area unless you are selling. Sellers arriving early are welcome to park in the overflow lot until the Swap Meet gates open.
Sale items will include antique radios, tubes & parts, Ham radio & Hi-Fi equipment, records & phonographs, test gear & much more. Free coffee & pastries will be available each morning. A Donation Auction benefiting SCARS will be held mid-morning on Saturday.
Our swap meet is open to everyone, but you must be a current SCARS member to sell.

Various short radio-related presentations are tentatively planned for the afternoon from 2 - 4 pm in the VANC La Jolla Room.
A no-host bar for SCARS members prior to dinner is also planned.
Dinner, Board Elections and a Feature Presentation (to be announced) are slated to take place in the La Jolla Room from 6 - 9 pm.
Saturday:
Following the swap meet, a brunch will be served at VANC from 10:30 am - 1 pm. A Radio Contest will also be held. Categories include: Best Restoration, Home Brew, Crystal Sets, Novelty Radios (tube or transistor) and Miscellaneous. Cash prizes will be offered for each category; $25 for 1st place, $15 for 2nd and $10 for 3rd.

Our two day 50th Anniversary meet will be held at the Veterans Association of North County (VANC) 🇺🇸, located at 1617 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA 92058.
