Club members submitting items for the annual SCARS auction are required to fill out certain forms. Although they will be available at the auction check-in table, sellers are strongly encouraged to fill out forms before arriving in order to save time and to ease the burden on auction volunteers. A "Lot Information Card" - printable as one card or three cards - should be attached to each individual radio or electronic item. Info cards should be securely attached. Lots with missing cards may be pulled from the auction at any time.
Please do not attach info cards to wooden radios with Scotch tape! (Blue "painter's tape" is recommended). Each seller may submit a maximum of 10 items (see Auction Rules). Box lots containing smaller items require only one Info Card per lot. If more than one item must be included in an unboxed lot, please mark the respective info cards as "lot item 1 of 2", "lot item 2 of 2", etc.
All sellers are also expected to fill out a "Consignment Sheet" listing each lot item. Leave the "Consignor's Number" (bidder number) area blank until you purchase a bid card at the auction. "Hang tags" with the identifying lot number should also be attached to each lot item. Blank tags will be available at the auction. After being approved by a SCARS auction official or designated handler, items with correctly completed paperwork can then be placed in the preview area.
